    Kids First is a participating organisation in the National Redress Scheme.

    The National Redress Scheme provides support to people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse. The Scheme will provide, for eligible applicants, a monetary payment, access to counselling, and an apology in cases of institutional child sexual abuse.

    Kids First acknowledges that throughout our long history, some children in our care have experienced instances of abuse or neglect. We are deeply sorry for this and sincerely apologise.

    Past clients of Kids First (formerly known as the Children’s Protection Society) who experienced abuse may lodge a complaint with us, or make an application through the National Redress Scheme.
