The Kurnai Young Parents program (KYPP) provides a flexible and supportive learning for young parents aged 14-21, helping them complete their schooling while balancing the responsibilities of parenthood.
Kids First Australia provides a mentoring program to assist the young parents enrolled within the program: Kurnai Youth Parents Mentoring Program.
The KYPP mentoring program is designed to support young parents who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from the KYPP aged 17 -20 years. It is hoped that a mentor will give students the support they need to continue achieving their goals and support them in connecting with the community. Mentors will help participants navigate the complexities of parenthood, education, and career development.
