About the evaluation

The Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation evaluated the implementation of education and care elements at Korin Korin Child and Family Centre. Th evaluation was made possible through funding support from the National Australia Bank Foundation. The evaluation report shows that staff at the Centre feel well supported by the training, supervision and coaching provided to them. The support provided to families through the Coffee Club has been successful in building the capacity of parents.

Educators are enabled to consider their professional practice, improve their responsiveness to vulnerable children and enhance their engagement and ability to connect with families. This includes a deep understanding of Kids First service philosophy and the referral programs available for children and families within Kids First."
