How we can help
N-HARP supports families to recover after living in a household where there has been family violence. We specialise in trauma-informed care that focuses on helping children and their caregivers to feel safe and to strengthen their relationships.
We help adults to understand their own and their child's experience of the violence and learn ways to support their family's wellbeing and recovery.
Who can access N-HARP?
The program is free and available to people who:
• live in Banyule, Darebin, Nillumbik, Whittlesea, Yarra, Hume and Merri-bek local government areas; and
• have experienced family violence.
This can include:
• children aged up to 14 years, and their caregiver/s
• young people over 15 years with or without their caregiver
• adult victim-survivors with children
